Grid Release Notes

This release note provides an overview of recent updates and improvements to the Grid platform.

New feature: Dashboard import/export configuration

You can now export your existing dashboard configuration to quickly duplicate or clone setups across workspaces. Downloading a dashboard generates a JSON file containing all layout metadata, widget configurations, and data source mappings. When you click Create Dashboard, you now have two workflow options:

• Create manually

• Import configuration

Key features of import configuration:

• Flexible worksheet mapping: You can map widgets from your template file to target worksheets in your new workspace, either individually or in bulk.

• Smart schema and alias validation: To ensure everything renders correctly, your target worksheets must use the same column aliases as the original setup. If a required column or alias is missing, the system highlights it with a visual warning before you save it.

• Instant error detection: Uploading a corrupted or invalid file instantly triggers a clear validation alert so you can fix it right away.
