Grid Release Notes
Release v22
What’s new in Grid v22
This release note provides an overview of recent updates and improvements to the Grid platform.
New launch: Grid Cortex
We’ve expanded Grid AI by integrating Grid Cortex for all accounts. You can now query your data using natural language and get fast, actionable insights. Grid Cortex analyzes your existing worksheets, reports, and column schemas to help you build complex queries without starting from scratch. It simplifies data analysis by enabling conversational analytics.
Key features
- Text and voice queries: Users can ask questions using either text or voice commands.
- Multilingual support: Grid Cortex supports 23 languages including 22 native Indian languages and English.
- Data security and governance: Grid Cortex is powered by Grid’s in-house LLM. The data is never shared with external parties.
Feature rename: "Mandatory Filter” is now “Pre-load filters”
We have renamed Mandatory Filters on the Home page to Pre-load Filters. Home page filters are of two types: Drop down and Date range. Here is what changes with this update:
- Selection rule: If filters are marked as Pre-load, users must select at least one filter from each type (Date range and Drop down) before the Home page data will load.
- Visual tag: Filters that require selection before viewing data now displays Pre-load tag next to the filter name.
Note: Feature rename, selection rule and visual tag are only applicable to Home page filters, not on Dashboard filters.
Text widget: Markdown support
Text widget now supports Markdown, making it easier to format and present content. You can enable Markdown in the widget to add headings, bold or italic text, lists, links, images, code, and more. Supported Markdown syntax includes:
- Headers
- Bold and italic text
- Blockquotes
- Ordered and unordered lists
- Inline code and code blocks
- Links
- Images
- Horizontal rules
- HTML
