Release v21.17

July 24, 2026

Whats new in v21.17

This release note provides an overview of recent updates and improvements to the Grid platform.

Table widget: Row-level linkage

We've added support for row-level linkage in the table widget. Previously, table widget linkages worked only at the cell level, where clicking a cell applied a filter using the selected cell value and displayed the corresponding linked data.

With this enhancement, users can enable row-level linkage from the linkage tab to apply filters using all applicable values from a selected row. When enabled, a linkage icon appears in the first column of the table, allowing users to trigger row-level filtering with a single click.

Note: Row-level linkage does not apply filter values for calculated columns and aggregated columns.

Table widget: Column header formatting

You can now format column headers in the Table widget. The following formatting options are available: text color, background color, bold, italic, underline

Note: These styles are applied in the dashboard view and are preserved in PDF, Excel, and email exports.

Network column visibility

The Network column is now visible in the web form view, allowing users to view prefilled network strength and network speed values. The values are view-only and cannot be edited. If no value is available, the column displays "No data."

Grid AI enhancements

We've launched version 2 (v2) of the Grid AI Builder agent, expanding its existing capabilities. In addition to creating worksheets, configuring columns, creating reports, and creating dashboards, the Builder agent can now:

  • Accept file attachments, including pdf, doc, ppt, jpg, and other supported filetypes.
  • Provide multiple options for users to choose when a prompt is ambiguous, helping users clarify their request.
  • Display a Session Resources panel that contains uploaded context files and generated outputs, with options to browse, search, and download them.
  • Perform Query Agent tasks within the same chat interface.
  • Support voice input (English only). Voice input is automatically transcribed into text for use in prompts.
  • Create catalogs to limit the worksheets and reports available to the agent. The agent uses only the resources in the selected catalog as references during user interactions.
Analysis agents v2

Analysis Agents have been upgraded with the following improvements:

  • A redesigned home page that displays the total number of configured agents, active agents, and agents that require user attention.
  • Updated agent cards with status, schedule/notification details, and quick actions such as Open, Edit, Run, and Delete.
  • Agent results are now presented as formatted HTML reports with a clear layout, headings, and visuals for improved readability.
  • A new Summary page that displays pending, running, successful, and failed states.
  • An Ask Agent panel on the Summary page that lets users ask questions and follow up on all Analysis Agent runs. Conversations remain available even after the panel is closed, and the agent can answer questions using the complete history of both current and previous runs.
