Grid Release Notes

This release note provides an overview of recent updates and improvements to the Grid platform.

Global search across Grid

We have introduced Global Search to make navigation across workspaces faster and easier. Simply press Ctrl + K from anywhere in the Grid to instantly search worksheets, dashboards, reports, and modules, navigate to Home or Users, or quickly create new dashboards and reports. You can also use number shortcuts directly from the search bar to perform quick actions. For example:

• 1 - Go to Home

• 2 - Go to Worksheets

• 3 - Go to Dashboards

• 4 - Create Dashboard  

• 5 – Go to Reports

• 6 – Create Report

• 7 – Go to Users

• 8 – Go to Integrations

• 9 – Go to Settings

Addition of a new database connector – Databricks

We've added support for the Databricks database connector in Integrations on Grid. This connector enables Grid to securely connect to your Databricks workspace and retrieve data for importing into Grid worksheets. Once a Databricks connection is configured, you can execute SQL queries against Databricks tables or views and seamlessly synchronize the query results with your Grid worksheets, making it easier to keep your data up to date.
