Grid Release Notes

We have two feature enhancements as per Release 18.2.0 designed for the Grid’s dashboard:

1. Scatter Plot Widget: Date/Date-Time column for X-axis with 'Value' aggregate

You can now select a Date or Date-Time column as the X-axis along with the aggregate function, ‘Value’ in the Scatter Plot widget. Besides, Count and Distinct_Count functions are also available for use.

This unlocks the ability to analyze trends and distributions over time, or group data points by unique time intervals for more meaningful insights.

2. Bar and Area Charts: ‘Assign to Left Y-axis’ feature

A new ‘Assign to Left Y-axis’ operation has been added for topline graphs in Bar and Area charts. This enables mapping the topline’s values to the left Y-axis, making comparisons clearer and providing more control over dual-axis charts.

This feature is interchangeable once applied (Left Y-axis to Right Y-axis or vice versa) and instantly updates the chart’s alignment.

Both the features were released on 22 Sept 2025.
