Welcome to 2022! We've been busy cranking out some features that we can't wait to see you use and help us improve. Without further ado:

New Features

Dashboard: Strip Logs

Strip Logs is a new dashboard widget that allows you to visualize continuous streams of data, in a strip. One example of this type of data, from the mineral exploration industry, is the composition of the soil in a test hole that's being dug to obtain a soil sample. Using strip logs would allow you to visualize the various soil horizons, the mineral content observed, etc, for each test hole in a field, in the structure of the sample itself.

Because Grid enables rapid data entry for field personnel, this widget also displays its visualization as the data becomes available, in real-time. This allows management staff to see the sample results as early as possible, as soon as field personnel put it into the app. The days of waiting hours or even days to see results is a thing of the past.

Dashboard: YQM Functionality

When you add any chart widget to your dashboard, the chart now lets you display your data by Year, Quarter or Month (YQM). Before we launched this feature, if you wanted to chart your data by year, quarter or month (or some combination of the three) you'd have to create multiple dashboard widgets, one for each view.

Data: Web Forms

Instead of using the Worksheet interface to input your data, you can now use an auto-generated Web Form to enter data into the Worksheet.

Using the Web Forms interface allows you to add data to your Worksheet via an auto-generated form.

UI Improvement: LTW Coloured Buttons

When you use the Link To Worksheet column in a Worksheet, you can now define colours for the various buttons that will appear in the mobile app. So if you're using the Link To Worksheet column to allow your users to pick options from a menu, the options can now be colour-coded and when the user is entering data, they'll see those colours in the mobile app as well.

Coloured Buttons for LTW allows users to see pre-defined colours when picking options from a menu.
